Show and Tell
Purpose: This activity encourages children to explore and articulate their thoughts about everyday objects, enhancing their communication and storytelling skills. As they share their items, they engage in critical thinking, making connections across subjects like science, history, and art. Discussing the significance and history of their chosen objects not only fosters creativity and confidence but also helps develop vocabulary and listening skills. Plus, it’s a fun way to bond and learn together, wherever you are!
Materials Required:

Instructions:
1. Anywhere, Anytime! This activity can be done anywhere—indoors, outdoors, or even during a walk! Just find a comfortable spot where you and your child can sit or stand together.
2. Do a Quick Scavenger Hunt: Set a timer for 2 minutes and challenge your child to find an interesting object around them. It could be anything - a toy, a book, a rock, or a leaf.
3. Present and Share: Once they’ve found their item, give them 2 minutes to explain what it is, why they chose it, and any stories related to it. Encourage them to be creative in their presentation - maybe they can act it out or share a funny anecdote!
4. Interactive Q&A: After each presentation, take turns asking each other questions about the objects. You can use a “talking stick” or any fun object to pass around, allowing only the person holding it to speak.
5. Celebrate Together: Wrap up the activity by giving each other a round of applause or a high-five for participating!
