The Unit 1 of our interdisciplinary unit-style learning First grade curriculum, ‘Discovering Myself and the Universe’ is a gateway to a world of exploration and wonder for first-grade learners. This introductory Unit of our First Grade set is divided into three sections:

Our Place in the World - This section dives into larger concepts of human impact, geography, culture, and conservation. Through hands-on projects and virtual field trips, children become critical thinkers, analyzing the world around them and understanding the implications of their actions on a global scale.
